The Good Old Boys are playing on invitation at the 13. Bowers & Wilkins Rhythm'n'Blues Festival together with Popa Chubby and Ryan MacGarvey - a real highlight!
30 Years Of Soul - THE GOOD OLD BOYS celebrate their 30th anniversary performing two shows together with the fantastic Kerstin Beltz, Steve O'Neill and Douglas Campbell.
The Good Old Boys Jump-Up Concerts 2013 - In February 2013 more than 1000 people attend the two shows at the Weberei Gütersloh and the FORUM in Bielefeld, which is completely sold-out! The Good Old Boys keep their promise to the fans and return to the stage presenting an additional musical highlight featuring 'Magic Tom' Thomas Feldmann on harp.
It's not the Palace Hotel Ballroom, it's the King Albert Theater: during the 12.Chursächsische Festspiele in September 2012 The Good Old Boys receive standing ovations for their show at Bad Elster.
After the Jump-Up Concerts Horst Dieter Klein decides to retire from the Soul-Clan - as a former member of the Soulphonics Bernd Meyer-Jarchow joines the band on keyboards.
The Boys Are Back ! In 2011 the band decides to get back on stage after a long time of soul abstinence.
The Good Old Boys Jump-Up Concerts take place in January 2012 and the response of the fans is really overwhelming! The event in Bielefeld is sold-out weeks before. So the promise is made that The Good Old Boys will return soon.
Heiko, Micki and Doc quit the band to form The Soulphonics.

The Good Old Boys play at the CeBit Hannover on behalf of Hewlett Packard CoCreate. Two days later they return to Hannover for the Ceyonic CeBit Aftershow-Party.
The Good Old Boys play at the Frankfurt Marriott Super-Bowl Party of the Frankfurt Galaxy American Football Team.

The Good Old Boys appearance on the Soul-Night at the Stadthalle Bremerhaven together with Emo Phillips (not a relative of Phil).
Cebit 1998: The Good Old Boys play their first concert together with additional singer Maria Morris at the Ronneburg, Hannover.
A new female vocalist: Svenja Schmidt starts to sing with
The Good Old Boys.
More than 3000 people come to watch The Good Old Boys at the Breminale. Dieter Krahe leaves the band for occupational reasons and is replaced by Horst-Dieter Klein.
The CD "Natural Soul" is recorded and released on the label MAXIMUM TALK. Melanie Schmidt leaves the band and is replaced by Angel Marshall.
The Good Old Boys do an open-air show at Bielefeld supporting the Weather Girls.
Finally The Good Old Boys re-enter the stage with Phil Phillips, Tony Johnson, Melanie Schmidt and Bianca Schomburg on vocals. There are several sold-out venues all over 1995.
Several castings for new vocalists take place and a new horn-section is formed working hard with Heiko, Phil and Doc on a new show. Dieter Krahe returns to the band with his hammond organ.
The band plans a complete relaunch with a new brass-section and additional vocals.
The WDR presents a complete Good Old Boys concert as live broadcast during the "Rheinisches Musikfestival" in Cologne.
The band is invited to play three shows in the first days of October during the festival "Begegnungen" at Karl Marx Stadt.
The new Good Old Boys show "The Apostles Of Soul" is introduced and receives fantastic feedback. Later that year the band plays at the main event of the 20th anniversary of the University of Bielefeld in front of 8000 people.
A new bass-player is searched and found: Micki Hellmich. In autumn 1987 the band supports the legendary Wilson Pickett promoting his first album release on Motown Records: "American Soul Man".
Steve O'Neill joines Phil Phillips as vocalist of The Good Old Boys.
The Good Old Boys are formed by Heiko Steinsiek, Thorsten Klinger (Sax & Vocals) and Dieter Krahe (Hammond). Later that year guitarrist Wolfgang Kipp (Doc) joines the band.
